Recieved my 111h from River today. It took 8 days from the time I paid. It was packaged very well. In fact was wrapped so tightly that I had trouble getting it out! This is my first PAM and I am really liking it. The SS band he put on it is brushed. I was expecting it to be polished and brushed....I believe that is available, so please guys chime in on that. If it is available I might want to get it.

Overall I am very satisfied, I would recommend River to anyone and will order from him again for sure! His communication is fast and easy. Thanks River!

Oh and by the way, I got the Swiss Movement with the Adjustable Swan Neck. This also has the sapphire crystal with the AR coating.

And now for the pictures!

Adjustable S/N on Swiss ETA 6497 with CDG bridges ?! Is that for sure ?

Man you're the lucky one, the closest Swiss ETA 6497 with CDG bridges I could find came with 'decorative' non-working S/N.

Was this a custom jobbie by River ?

cheers,
babola

Thanks Thor I really appreciate it!

Babola...It is supposed to be the Adjustable S/N but I don't know how to tell for sure. Is there a way to confirm? It was not a custom job, just something River is offering.

Yeah I looked at hers as well and really liked it. Ruby is very nice to deal with. However, right now she doesnt take paypal, thats the only reason I didn't buy from her. Its a great looking watch. Thats the original band I liked.

Using WU wasn't that bad,
I ordered a couple of watches from her (1 for me and one for the wife) and she gave me great prices that offset the WU fees.

It does, but I really think pams look far better on leather.

Great looking watch. The side by side pic of the Rollie is great too. This shows me that this watch might not be in my future because of the enourmous size. I have tiny wrists and this thing would dwarth my wrist.

What size wrist Lotus? Mine is a puny 6-3/4" and the 44mm pam fits nicely!

Mine too is 6-3/4"....I'd really like to try one one just to see. hmmm, there may be some hope yet. :D

I have my Daytona on right now and it fits just right...that's why I commented about the size. I could probably go a little bigger without it being to big a problem.

Thanks for all of the kind words.

As far as the 111 being to big, I was worried about this as well. My wrist is about 6 3/4 and you see how it fits on me. It is a lot bigger than my daytona but it doesn't feel to big. When you look down over the top you can still see the band on either side. Really once you wear it around for a little bit you get used to it.

Can anyone shed any light on how to cofirm the swiss mvmt with the swan neck?

Movement looks clean - and the SS sure does make this one different. I like the 2nd last photo - well lit / crisp.
