Reading a post here with many links to receive free commercial catalog from different brand, i order few. And today i receive The panerai 2009.

And when i saw the 00000 & the 00005 and knowing all the flaws in Logo's rep, i thought it was funny to post 2 pics from the catalog :

So even in the gen, the logo are not always the same, regarding to series i guess. How the hell do the factories could possibly do a perfect rep with this ^^ ? Or the good point is that allow us to have a logo not pointing exactly at the end of the "E" :)

This is done on purpose from the gen companies to make it harder for the rep guys to copy it.
I have seen this on Rolex and Breitlings before.
The big thing with Rolex is that the Rolex Rolex on the rehaut is sometime off too.

Searching within the Panerai official site, there's some 'mistake' voluntary included:
Example: The 'L swiss L' on the Pam036 instead of the 'T swiss T' as it should be!!!

Guys, they do this on purpose ok, but you mean only on the pics, like "photoshoped" or even in the watch they sell ?

That first 005 shown is one of the rare and desirable "long arrow" 005s - some of the first ever produced. The reason for this is that they used some leftover dials from the PAM195 special edition. Later 005s use the logo that we are used to seeing, and the same one as used on the 000.

Hope that explains the differences.

Thanks Hooligan, every explanation is welcomed, especially when it's well argued :)
