Hey RWI,
Up for sale today is a Blue Breitling Navitimer 38mm (model A17325) which has had work done to it to make it indistinguishable from the real thing.
I think I may regret this one given my soft spot for Navitimers and the time taken to find the gen bezel for this, but, it's time for this beauty to find a new home.
Base watch used for this watch was from TF factory which had the colour blue incredibly accurate to gen vs KOR which uses a shade of blue too pale and hence not like the real thing.
Watch has sat in the breitling box since I completed this build and has only seen wear indoors once. Some stickers are still intact.
Changes made from Stock
- Gen inner bezel (part no 250.G841) - Often a tell with rep navitimers, the rep bezel markings don't go all the way to the edges whereas gen bezel markings do. The colour of the rep bezel is also different to the real thing. I've pictured the changes between rep and gen bezel in the images below to highlight the difference.
- 2xProfAR crystal - Needs no introduction, the famous prof 2xAR crystal diminishes any form of reflections on the sapphire (poor AR coating is another tell of rep breitlings)
- Gen Breitling Alligator strap (part no. 1015p) - Navitimers for me always belong on alligator straps and nothing beats the gen strap. (Steel bracelet that came with the watch is unused and will also be included as pictured).
- Gen Breitling Box (newer edition) - can also be used as a travel pouch.
