I live in Austria, seems to take longer than I initially expected to get watches from UK stock ...
Another interesting note: The tracking number shows nothing until today. Also not that the package was handed over to the courier.
Royal Mail has had issues even before Christmas. I am waiting for several packages, including from Sead, and I'm still waiting. The hack made things worse and I imagine it might have affected them earlier than they admit publicly. Some of them have started moving again in the past days others are still stuck. This is a problem with Royal Mail. However, in my case this is the safest option to avoid customs so I'd rather wait than have to deal with them.
So Sead made an offer:
Since there will be further big delays he will send me a new watch from China and I’ll return my watch from UK once I’ll get it.

Fair enough. Maybe I'll wait, I find it hard to believe that a delivery from China will be faster than UK - Europe, even considering the Royal Mail hack. I'll see what he replies.
