Well, I've really wanted an Omega seamaster, but the older reference 2254.50. I couldn't find it rep'd so I decided to build my own. This is my first time building a watch. I ordered a case, bracelet and the correct dial from rafflesdials. An eta2824 movement from ebay, and a first er flat link bracelet because I like the way it looks and the one I hat comes with the case is the newer style. What I didn't realize was that the bezel from the newer to the old reference is different, the new is thicker and has a different font. But the case I ordered has a solid case back so I think it might be an older reference case...So now I'm sitting here waiting for it to come in to see how obvious it will be....
I also saw on eBay what appears to be the same case for $50...so... oh well.

I was thinking about throwing a planet ocean bezel assembly on it instead but I have been having a hard time sourcing the parts. Any advice?
