ETA 2846 for a 1680 Red

I just picked up a 1680 M2M and want to take it to the next level. I am looking at a few ETA 2846 movements on various websites and came across this one. Can anyone help me make sure it is a real ETA 2846?

Raddave, the reason why I asked about this movement is because I couldn't really see the number stamp where I've usually seen the 2846 on other movements.

the plates and the bearings look right , and the screws look a little chewed up, not something i would expect on a clone, plus as you state you cant see the 2846 on the plate, but in that same pic you really cant see the MIDO on the rotor , which leads me to think it the lighting ....

The machining on the mainplate leads me to believe its real ....
