Engine oil in 3135

So the datewheel isn't flipping past half way to the next day on my sh3135 movement is it a bad idea to stick a bit of 10w 40 under the datewheel like 2 x needle tips worth? Or maybe put a small bend in the date change spring?

Lol... Try bending the spring and please don't use motor oil. You could youse old frying pan oil if you really want to at least it would smell better of you are a good cook

Thank you is it the spring that looks like the hair clip?
Also is it the tip of the spring I need to put more of a curve on?

I'm a terrible cook so I thought a small amount of engine oil would grease things up a bit lol thank you haven't tried it didn't know if it would eat the inside of the watch
