Difference between these two Cartier Balon Blue SS?

Hello so i am buying a gift for the GF.
The only difference i can see between these two is price point.
Is there any major differences i should be aware of in terms of quality or just buy the cheaper one?

I know the dial is silver vs white they look almost the same to me though.

I'm not am expert. Very different.

1st one. Quartz movement. No second hand.

2nd one Automatic movement (swiss eta or jap). Has second hand.

They are different cartier models.

Id consider the quartz because it is more reliable, cheaper and she won't have to wind it.
