Deleting second hand cutout...

A member asked me to post some pics of a second hand dial that I changed to a base.

This is a close up and you can still see where the cutouts were. I filled them with quick set epoxy and sanded it down. I probably could have made it invisible but I figured the sunken area added some charm to the vintage dial so I left it.

The main reason I did it was to turn this watch with it's second hand into a base destro. Had I applied a second skim coat of epoxy to the cutouts and resanded it it would have been invisible. Another thing could have been to paint it with a heavy coat of primer and sanded that.

Anyway, I hope this has been helpful to someone :D

I just used regular flat black spray paint and daubed it with a small brush before it dried. When I just sprayed it it looked too uniform and new.

Nice one Pattaya!

The bezel just looks gold in that pic. It's stainless.
