Davidsen 009 PVD

After 2 months and 5 trips across the Pacific Ocean. I finally got this baby on my wrist. I would like to thank David for working with me on this one. And I would recommend anybody who is considering high end Panerai's to look at David's offering.

Here are a few shots. I apologize for the bad pics but this is the best I can do with my skill and the equipment I have. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks great - a very 'clean' PVD, uncluttered. I can empathize with your patience - and David is good to work with and does want to satisfy his clients' watch needs (I can already anticipate the ripostes had I left off the qualifing noun) :twisted:

Is this not a stock watch David sells? Can you share what you were looking to do / the story of this watch?

Also, can i ask where you got the nice pebble grain strap?

This one is the standard 009 PVD offered by David. I picked this watch was for its simplicity and no-nonsense un-clutter dial design. It actually looks better in real life than pics.

To make a long story short. I had some movement problem when I first got the watch and it was sent back to David for repair. Then we got into some shipping problem and the watch was returned to David for a second time. Thank God that it finally arrived at my house last week.

The strap is the one that comes with the watch from David. Looks and feels pretty good to me except the keepers are vinyl. I shall wear it for a while until I find something I like for the PVD's.
