Cartier Tank Solo (Large VS XL)

Hello guys,

This is my first post!

I joined this forum as I have the dilemma of picking the Cartier Tank Solo Large or XL... I thought a good place to start would be buying the reps!

I have looked on quite a few websites and its weird that I don't see a lot of Tank Solo's but I see a lot of Tank Anglaise and the Santos' :S

I plan on wearing the watches for about 6 months to get the general feel of them as I'm pretty smitten over the XL and the fact that its automatic but the large looks pretty smart and chic too! As cliche as it sounds, I want to find the best rep as I would get pretty embarrassed if someone caught me out with a fakie but not looking to spend more that about $150 USD unless its immaculate..... I know you "get what you pay for" but $150ish seems pretty reasonable judging from some of the other posts I have seen.

I'm after the Stainless Steel with black band so if anyone has any pics from ones they have purchased from TD's (picking up the lingo already) post them up! or PM me

Also, let me know your experiences with the watches themselves and what it was like dealing with the TD's

Hello yians, you do indeed have a dilemma choosing between Cartier Tank watches! The Cartier Tank line is rich with elegance and style across their entire portfolio. I too am new to the forum and also in the market for a Tank Solo. Have you had success finding the right dealer with the product you want? I would appreciate any advice you have, and I will let you know if I come across the right product for the right price. Cheers!
