Cartier Santos XL vs Midsize

Hi guys, im looking for a cartier santos XL for myself and the midsize for my gf.
Ive been reading many threads on the cartier santos and it seems the 38.5mm and 42mm are the same? Both considered the XL, and 33mm is the midsize.

So can i say that for the XL this 3 below are all the same, 2656, just a difference in movement?

Quickly review (I'm working)
Apparently, the same model with an Asian 2824-2 movement:
- Intime, sold for 308
- TSW, sold for 228
- 7750Asian, sold for 348
What is the best movement between 2836-2 and 2824-2? A model is sold by TSW at 338 with the 2836-2.
I am new in your forum, never bought a rep until now. Thanks for your help
