just be prepared to part with good cash for the gen. There are a few replacement straps on ebay from time republic and 999wholesalers, but they are nothing to write home about. Only marginal improvement on the rep strap. The Cartier needs a special plastic insert to fit properly, making it a hard strap to duplicate. You might want to try contacting Donerix (Hamilton Leather) to see if he can take the insert from the rep strap and build a really nice leather strap around it. Might be the cheapest option for a high quality strap. Just a thought... but this is one of the reasons I have been wary of getting too involved with the Santos 100's.
