Cartier Santos Chrono Strap / Buckle upgrades

Hi all
after a long time of sitting on fence have ordered the above.. would love to have had it on bracelet but not to be..

so after reading I know the strap is beef jerky.. so will look at options, again reading looks like Gen is maybe best option or
Donerix and the like... having gone Gen with some Pam, breitling straps I know how goos they are..

are there any sources for Gen, non AD... are there any oulets for used? I believe as part of the pricy service AD's actually replace the strap sometimes

and the buckle , also think this maybe uncomfortable and dig in a bit? anyone experienced this? any DIY fixes?

This watch to me was uncomfortable because of the size of my wrist but gen strap makes a ton of difference. eBay is a good place to snatch up a gem strap for a savings over an AD

Thanks mate.. Been keeping an eye... I'm thinking maybe of going to a standard buckle as well..
loving the watch though
