cartier calibre , rep or gen ??POL

hi all
just bought this from a reputable ebay seller and i just would like to confirm that is a gen

did my home work and checked the seller first ( on chrono 24 / no ebay neg / brick and mortar shop ...)

checked for the common tell sign .
canon pin going through the second dial in the right space CHECK
thickness of the case LOOK GOOD
cabochon dark blue CHECK
polished screw on the crown guard OK
date wheel not inverted CHECK

any other point i am missing ?

all look good but i am always stand reassured to get the RWI experts seal of approval !!
rep forum users are far more knowledgeable and got a far better approach to this type of question than gen forum where everybody seems to be just patting themself in the back ( to stay polite )

Judging from the movement, I am pretty sure it was genuine.

Yup movement is defs Cartier. No rep movement has a regulator that's been shaped into the Cartier logo (quite a nice touch). Moreover, afaik, the rep of the Calibre de Cartier only comes in a 23J and A2836 movement, this movement is neither.

Plus the fact they're on Chrono24, have zero neg ratings on eBay, and importantly, a brick and mortar store, means you're pretty much good

didnot know about the regulator . thanks a lot for the new bit of knowledge !!
indeed cute little C hidden away in there . nice little touch on somewhat bland looking movement

great feel on the wrist helped by the extra weight of the bracelet , wears of bit on the large size for a 42, but is thankfully only 12mm thick . sporty yet still good for more formal wear.

on the minus side , i can not see any pusher on the case to activate the blue laser beaming from the cabochon and it doesn't seem to be voice activated neither ? any idea ?
