which movement is best for the Cartier bb 36 in gold? One td has it in Asian and Japanese, and another in Quartz. No TD has Swiss as of yet.
I believe the real one is automatic.
Are there any recommendations for which movement is best for this style?

I'd go miyota. Quartz will he an obvious flaw, and miyota is generally more reliable than Chinese, although the Chinese should work well also

Well swiss is a double edged sword because most of the time you will be getting an ETA used or refurbished movement, so in all likelihood you will need a service, but after service, the materials are typically higher quality. Most will recommend in general to go miyota or Asian with a few exceptions. I saw some list the SW200 movement (also swiss made). That would be ideal as they can be purchased in bulk new by the manufacturer and are comparable to the ETA as far as quality, but are new so should not need anything for years to come.
