Hi,

Is there a difference between WBK's Calibre offering and Toro's Calibre offering? The obvious is pricing ($175 USD WBK vs $288 USD Toro). The watch looks to be the same, so what's the difference between them? I'm looking to purchase this lovely watch.

WBK Offering:

Toro Offering (2):

http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=75_150&product_id=1025 (v2)

Thanks guys!

WBK's version has the incorrect subdial positioning. The second link you posted to Toros site has the correct subdial positioning.

Are you sure about that? According to cartier's official US website http://www.cartier.us/collections/t...-de-cartier/w7100015-calibre-de-cartier-watch , the photo of the watch shows the circular perimeter of the seconds subdial at the 6 o'clock position not touching the marker (which WBK's has the same spacing), while the Toro v2 is clearly touching the marker, as well as the rectangular boxes of the Swiss and Made. Based on my observations, WBK's looks much more accurate. What am I seeing differently?

Stan's version is the correct one. I have one and it's a beautiful watch. Spirit did a review of this Cartier.

Stan's offering does seem to be correct with the details concerning the subdial as you guys had mentioned. Thanks for that confirmation. :)

Now, just out of sheer curiosity, why's Toro's offering at $288 with the incorrect subdial placement for v1 AND v2? You would think v2 would have corrected the subdial placement. Does the movement justify the cost then? :p

You're absolutely right - I had it backwards!

To me the movement doesn't justify the price for that price I would get two reps from Stan :)

Stans is a solid watch I had one. Just make sure you get the right version. The first one I got had to be sent back because the subdial didn't go through the cannon pinion and the crown guards weren't sculpted but if you make sure you get the right version it's a killer watch only tell is the thickness. Plus Stan is great to deal with.

Anyone know how much thicker is Stan's than the gen? Trying to gauge how much of a tell.
Many thanks!
