Got my gf the same with white dial - great watch, very close to gen and with 33mm nice small for a thin female wrist, there is also 36mm version if you want it a bit bigger
seiko should be very reliable (I would prefer that over a random Asian 17J/21J clone movement)

Why don't they make it in quartz.

If you are looking for close to gen clone, better don't play with pink dial - it doesn't look like original. In life dial on original one is more "yellow" than replica.

Yes, the silver or white dial is more gen like.
