With my first two reps under my belt I thought I would give a brief review of them. Both of my BBs are from V6F. The first was the 33mm with the White Texturized dail, which I will say is a bit on the dark/yellow side for my taste. But I am also very color sensitive, especially to white whites and warm whites, I can see the slightest difference. You cannot see it all the time, just in certain lights. Other than the dial issue, I am super impressed with the 33mm's construction. It has good weight to it, as a good watch should have, and there are no glaring flaws. If not for the color in the dial I would have been content. But... I am super picky and it was just a bit too glaring in my eyes so I went ahead and ordered the 28mm with a white dial to see if that would make me feel a bit better.
The 28mm's dial color is perfect, however this watch does have its flaws. Not big ones and certainly not in your face either. The first issue I noticed was that it is engraved 2009 on the back, whereas the gen of this model has 3009. This is an obvious discrepancy. The other issues I believe are specific to my watch though. First is the arms on the closure, both say "Swiss Made" instead of one saying "Swiss Made" and other saying "Stainless Steel" I think this was a miss at the factory during construction ( and then I missed it on the QC pics too *doh*). The other is there is a slight flat spot on the sapphire crown jewel. This is me being totally picky, it really is not noticeable unless you are really looking for it. Again I will say that the construction of the 28mm overall is really good. I have inquired about getting another closure, so I can correct that issue, but the other two I can totally let slide since I cannot see them when I am wearing the watch and neither will others.
Next on the list was a Tank Francaise, however, I happen to come across an estate auction that is happening this weekend that has one that I just might go check out. Who knows. I will get better pictures of the watches a bit later but here is a quick one of the two:
