About the 18 argument, see the first 2 gen pics and the ARF last. The blue is just in the 8 but not up the 8 openings. It’s also not below the 8

Definitely well done insert by ARF here, it can be upgraded still but it's one step ahead compared to what's been done so far by other factories. So cool!

I have criticized this watch in the recent past, just because I think ARF could do more than this. But now I have to say that the finished watch looks nice. It is for sure the best Batman out there. They did a very good job on the insert. It’s a shame for the case, the markers and the white lume, but the very big problem with this one will be the movement. Otherwise I would have already bought it because I love this model. Hope that one day they will switch to the VR.

I just ordered mine. I think the case is really good, markers seem improved, a little more rounded IMO, and I'll have to see it in the flesh but if you look at pictures that are not super bright, such as the QC pic in the previous page, they also look less white. On bright pictures they do look white, but so do the numbers on the insert and we know they're not so I suspect that it's the same for the markers.

Agree on the movement obviously, I guess I'll switch to a VR3185 if or when it breaks

This is typical of ARF. They “publish” a new watch but then they take ages to send it to TDs. It was like this also with other models. I hope your wait will be short.
regarding your previous message, I agree that watch looks very good. If you swap a VR inside you will be very happy.
