Anyone have a 111H case like this?

I've never seen a 111h rep case like the one I just received. It has slight indents on each side of the case when the bands attach. This is the latest version with the Swiss swan's neck. Anyone have one of these? Looks strange to me?

I have seen so many different versions of cases, I was not concerned just curious.

So it's Luminor case design specific.

Maybe a relief area for the metal bracelet to aid in take on/off ?

Just trying to figure out what purpose they serve or just cosmetic. Any ideas?

my 111H have such curvy shape as well.

I see. Strap relief makes sense. Wasn't sure if it was applicable for the leather straps as well.

I'm sure it will be put to the test with the new 4-5mm thick strap I have on they way. It will be worth any rub marks.

Once I put the better strap on the watch , I'll try to get a decent shot for eyecandy.
