Many apologies if this kind of post has been asked and answered. In 2013, I bought the

RO14080 - Planet Ocean 42MM Noobfactory Best 1:1 Ceramic Asian 2824

From TS Watch. After a few months, it stopped. Even after shaking it for a while, it would tick a few seconds then stop again. The local Watch guy at the mall said he could fix it for $250 (the watch was only $305, I think.)

Any ideas on a more frugal repair? TS Watch said it can't help.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps messaging Katt?
He just put a Sellita in another PO but not sure how much that would run you.

$250 is definitely way stupid. Its a clone 2824, so no point putting in a sellita movement. Worst case you buy a new 2824 clone for like 80 bucks and have it put in for like 50.
