A 4000 USD rep, anyone ?

Just crossed this one, and unfortunately the only model which carries the amazing transparent tourbillon from Seagull (movement is inserted in a sapphire case) is also (supposedly) solid gold...
I'd love the same in a cheaper case... please

Good "exercise", but for the price they could have used Breguet style hands... and genuine alligator.

Imagine anything close to a swiss solid gold watch costs way more. 4000 is the price of a basic Rolex

And if you buy a genuine branded Seagull tourbillon, without any kind of gold, you'll spend about 3000.

It's easy to play on the gold content down to 14k, that makes the price dratically decrease and you'll notice later only when it starts tarnishing

J&W are about as trustworthy as they come. Cheating folk on stuff like that kinda ruins you repeat biz and face it, the pool of clients is not endless.
