bloody excellent! let us know how the project goes, after a franken project with 4500v im thinking of the 5500v too, sadly the 7900v isnt available by any factory

Definitely possible to get rubber with 8F Overseas. Black, blue, and brown depending on the model. Blue and brown are a shade lighter than gen, but at least all have the Maltese cross pattern embedded and correct markings inside.

2000v, 4300v, 4500v, and 5500v from 8F can all be ordered with bracelet, leather, or rubber. TD's just often don't feel like taking photos of all the ~60 different options, or putting up factory photos.

TDs can source an extra strap or two so you can take advantage of the famous Overseas mechanism, for a nominal fee. Certainly less than the ~$300 aftermarket options for leather or rubber.

Hont. 8F a few months ago, and a TWF rubber strap this month. He's spotty with open questions, but he hasn't let me down sourcing anything niche if I provide exactly what I want.

Trustytime shows the 4300v in rubber, so he should also be good for it. I haven't ordered from him before, but just to show stock 8F rubber.

Usually dealers will take their own photos of watches once they see them in hand to share to potential customers rather than sharing bland factory photos. I meant 'his own stock' as his own stock photos rather than what he had 'in stock'.

Some dealers don't even have contact with the factory and go through wholesalers instead and using photo origins is a quick way to guess how close to the source you are. Which is why I asked, might help with a clue as to how helpful the healer might be with 8F in particular.

Dealers often put temporary placeholder prices on new models before they actually get the correct numbers put into the website, and culturally use 8 often. So you'll see watches for $888 and $8,888 from time to time, not that that's the actual price. In a bit he'll put the correct prices, or if you contact him and ask he'll let you know.

I'm glad you got your watch and are happy with it, but now I see why he couldn't get you the rubber strap. Legendetawatch doesn't have a good reputation here if you search, not everyone has a good experience.

For reference, the price is a good $100-150 above what you could've paid if you went through a normal TD instead of an IG reseller...
