For those who may doubt - this is a rep of a VERY rare gen seen here in the hands of Sig Bonati.

_16.jpg

In November of 2003, at PDay#2 in Cologne, Angelo Bonati presented an orange dialed T-SWISST-T Luminor that was housed in a pre-Vendome 5218-210 PVD case. This older prototype suddenly emerged from his inside pocket, at the same time when he presented the factory drawings for PAM 195 for the first time on the European mainland.

As Volker Wiegmann said, it`s only a prototype and never went to serial
production
Also the gen is a Pre-Vendome not a Pre-A

I think you are asuming that both watches were photographed in the same lighting with the same camera. I suspect they are much closer then you think.

I saw this prototype in a mag (Watchtime?) This is a very cool project. Perhaps in the future we could suggest some RWI-only watches that would be made in a batch - deposits to offset Davidsen's / enzo's development costs?

I like this unique element of RWI (interaction w/ the manufacturer) :)

Panerai is still a small enough brand that they probalby crank out a "one off" prototype like this every month.

We could go nuts with different custom Pam's like this and the only people who would be able to dispute it are Mr. and Mrs. Panerai! :D

Albeit, this would be the type of watch to drop some jaws around the Paneristi Cognesetti

If you want this watch you guys are going to have to REP the REP. This one is MINE.

True - re Cognoscenti. LOT of effort for 1 dial .... 8)

No way to persuede you to make same more? Or better still, make a limited edition watches, like for interested members only, after a deposit.

Just a thought.

Spring is eternal.

enzo, I think u would do some mod on this, right? Prepare your Sharpie to make that hyphen into T-Swiss-T as per the gen picture

Very nice, and I am waiting to see how it looks like after your mods.
