292 Ceramic Rep. ( Brushed Mod? )

Hello all, I just recd. my 1st rep from Watcheden. FYI: Fantastic Dealer! My question to you all is, has anyone who recd. the polished ceramic case done a brushed mod to the case so it appears closer to Gen. ? If so could you list what is needed and a play by play? Thanks in advance to you all.

If it's a real ceramic case, then the only way to get it to look good by refinishing the case is to have it bead blasted; I think taking grit paper to it would produce a messy result, and would require a braver man than I to attempt it on my new rep!

If it's PVD'd metal, then you will almost certainly have to get the case blasted and then recoated, as brushing the case will likely damage the PVD coating. Both expensive mods, unless you have access to the equipment.

Pics, please? I'm relatively certain this is "ceramic look" vs. real ceramic like the J12 or HBB reps.

As such, any attempt to "brush" the finish would likely be disasterous and just end up scratching away the finish...
