2010 Machinegun Shoot at Knob Creek

[Anopsis]

Over the weekend I went to Knob Creek Range (West Point, KY) for the semi-annual Machinegun Shoot.

I only have a few low-res pics and some grainy video, but it was a blast. Miniguns running 3000 rounds per minute and 50 cals thumping out APITs (Armor-Piercing Incendiary Tracers) was lots of fun.

I used my digital PnS for video and it lacks the visceral impact. Ah well.

We aren't even permitted semi auto long arms any more thank's to that prick Bryant and the mess he made at Port Arthur.

#5 MG4 - the Heckler&Koch MG4?

Looks like it was a lot of fun. I just love tracers!

Is that a police car in the back of picture 1?

Last time I had a machine gun in my hands it was a H&K MG3 mounted on top of "my" tank But it had the "NATO brake" so cadence was reduced to only 1200 rounds pM.

Yes, it's the H&K, and no, the car in the back on the right was a third-gen Pontiac Firebird.
