Hi Guys, I finally got my first rep which is a PAM005 from hontwatch. It looks great but there is a small problem. The crown lock is loose and clanks when I move my hand. Anything I can do fix it?

Are the screws that hold the crown guard to the case tightened down properly?

Its just the screws need to be tightened I would think. Get a litte screwdriver and tighten them up. Hope that helps. C

Any idea where I can get a proper screw driver to service the crown guard? I dont want to damage it.

Any small screwdriver will work. They have the mini-ones at any Home Depot or Lowes or even Office Depot sells them. Just a $5.00 set of mini-screwdrivers that people use to work on computer cases, etc...will work until you get a little further along and want to invest in a watch repair kit.

It may be just the lever loose in the guard, which many are. If so, a small mod will work like a bead of Hot glue. Some have gone as far as using an O ring between the lever and the guard.

Good luck.

Try an post a picture.

Cptkirk you are exactly correct. It is the lever in the guard, I didnt know how to properly describe it. So I can put a bead in between the crown lock and the lever to give it a little more resistance? If I pull the lever to wind the watch and then close the lever it clanks around when you move it because it isnt making solid contact with the crown guard.
