127 and next ver of 6497

Looks like the fiddy is next on the "to get" list. Though a 9 or 195 are a close second.

I've read about a slightly improved version 6497 (better logo engraving, anything else?) might be coming out soon. That's just too good to resist.

Anyone have a general eta for the impoved movement? More info on what's going to be done with it?

It seems that most of the fiddys out now with the swiss swan's neck movements are fairly complete except for the pinion and questions about the crystals actually being saphire. I know Davidsen's version has real AR saphire and pinion fix but the movment is not as accurate looking as the others.

I guess I should hold out and wait to see what the new 6497 might bring to the table.

Might have to order one of Davidsen's amazing pvd's if the wait will be long. I think I might have a pam rep addiction problem! :lol:

Funny thing is as soon as I get a watch that is on my want list, another is added so the list never ends. :shock:

Ordered one of Davidsens 217`s awhile back, should be here any day. Sure the movements not perfect, but it should wind up and tell time. I personally look at the front of the watch most of the time, and this one with the Ar Sapphire crystal, non-recessed hands, and had him superlume the dial along with the hands should look nice. And just in case the crown guard is reversed as in his pictures, I have one waiting to switch out. Waited awhile to get a Destro, and his looked the best.
