I finaly ordered my 111h from silix, got a confirmation number, it does not work, thats ok, Ive been through this before though. Having been a previous rep pan owner, I already knew the strap fetish that these watches cause. So I also ordered the pan black and yellow velcro stap that keeps calling my name. I also ordered a light tan leather from silix. Don't know how good the quality is but it looks nice. Then of course, I had to order a black with white stiching and dark brown with white stiching leather straps. I cant stop looking at the great photos of the 111h and thanks to pugs photos, I finaly let a couple hundred dollars go.

Thanks
Ken

111h is awsome. I wear my constantly. nice buy.

Thanks

This is one watch I have taken alot of time to read and research on. I just fell in love with the dial and all the members photos so I had to have one. This may mean that my gen vintage explorer case and redial with eta manual wind movement may have to go as it is only 34mm. We'll see how this goes first. Anyway, I have not purchased a new watch in a while so the waiting game is a killer but I'm sure is well worth the wait.

Thanks
ken

Id like to get this watch too - its such a classic...

When you get it can you please comment on the quality ? Or can anyone who owns ones of these bargain 111Hs chime in ? I know that 111H prices can range up to 400USD with the swannecks, xstals, ar, and this and than, etc...but the Silix one looks nice for the price.

And yeah Pugwashs pictures of this watch are great and made me first consider this watch...
:D

We'll do. Pug has a good break down of this watch already, you just have to search for it. I have owned a gen eta unitas pan earlier so I will be able to compare the quality of the asian copy compared to the swiss. I have read that the asian in some ways may be better, even a little smoother.

Thanks. Ive read a lot about this watch for sure... :D.

Im kind of split on the 177 or the 111, I like the darker Ti color but am not sure if Id like the material of Ti since Ive never owned a Ti watch...

Regardless heres a 111h pic with a nice strap:

111h is the best value for money watch that I have seen anywhere on the forums, without a doubt the chinese unitas copy that silix sells, was the best $100 I ever spent, simply fantastic quality, it is without swan neck regulator and has the recessed cannon pin, but fuck me it's $100 and it is waterproof and VERY VERY VERY well made. The movement is a touch loud, but fucking hell it's a daily beater, I LOVE MINE, and take full credit for infecting Pug with the bug lol.

the 111h is a killer watch! i find that ss is a better beater when compared to ti due to the ease of refinishing it. wear it in good health!

I had the 112 base and sold it about a year ago. Regret it all the time. I realy loved that watch, but also I knew there were better improvements on the details comming so I wanted to sell it and get as much as I could while I could. Back then these pans were costing over $400 from eddie and river around 2 years ago. I realy debated on getting the base again, but went for something a little different. Didnt want to feel like I sold my watch, and then turned around and purchased it again a year later. Thanks for pics I love looking at the watch. Silix just emailed me to tell me the shippment was rerouted, I checked the number and it now shows movement, may take about another two weeks now for delivery..... Oh the agony!!!!!

the marinas are great lookers.. visually, i think the seconds hand balances the crownguard really well..which might explain the quirky attraction of the base dial. :)

Yea, I love the base, I was a little worried about Silix base tough. It was a great deal at only $110 but it said it was only 42mm. Didnt want it to be odvious that it was not a full size pan or scream fake due to the size. What size is your base, btw, fantastic pics, not Im torn between getting the 112 or the 183 next.

I bought my 111h from a dealer in TW about a year ego, I paid a MBW price of around $375.

SS case 1:1 to orignal
swiss unitas w/ non-function swan (functional swans werent around yet)
OEM sapphire glass w/ OEM AR coating (had to kill people to get this)

Still needs canon-pin thing and I believe it needs the oem crown, but I dont really care about those. I'll just wait for a better verson to come out and grab that up.

I am highly considering buying a 177h. I REALLY want one, but I dont think you can get it w/ sapphire AR coating and that doesnt do it for me, I dont like mineral.

It is deff an eye catcher, especially if the person knows watches.

I came across the same thing on his model #PANS063 and asked him about it. Angel or Jay acknowledge the error on the site, thanked me for pointing it out and adjusted it on the web site.

So ask them, those guys are great.

mine is the same size as the gen, 44mm. the 112h is great! but since u've got a 111h, u shld get a 176h..or a 210 if u like. :)

Novesh - u CAN get a 177h on sapphire and AR coating with the non functional swan's neck..think the functional ones will be out soon. :)
