Guys, I juts recieved today a 111E that was Vacclumed from another member/another board....I noticed the hands looked bent upwards and after closer inspection the hour hand has etched a perfect circle in the AR on the inside of the xtal...... is this something that can be fixed without having to get Lumed hands to match the lumed dial??

The hands can probably be correctly repositioned. If the AR is actually scratched an the inside of the crystal, the coating should be removed and reeapplied....or just removed. You should probably contact the person who did the work for you. Based on your description, the hands were not re-installed correctly.

it is said that Vac did the Lume...but this would have been over a year ago and it has passed thru 3 members....I wasnt aware until I recieved it and with RG going down it might be a lost cause....if the hands can be fixed and AR removed (which i prefer)...that could help

Based on what you describe, it does not appear to be a lost cause. The issues you mention can usually be fixed. (Re-unstalling the hands and removing AR. Re-applying AR is a little trickier and should be left to the pros.) If you aren't familiar/comfortable doing the work yourself, you can contact one of the watch repair guys here on RWI and they may be able to help you. I have used Katt before. He does good work.
