This is true... I like my leathers to match and I don't have many light shoes. I do have white rubber on a HBB and light brown Santoni leather on an IWC though!

The 177 is actually a 061 - both manual Ti Luminor Marinas but the 061 is closed back and brown dial (and only sausage indices unlike the 177 which has both sandwich and sausage variations).
Ti cases do seem to show scratches more clearly but they're easier to brush out... I...
Have had a few in and out recently and noticed that my core collection has a very distinct pattern...
I've tried to be other things but seems I'm a PAM head when it comes to reps. I've got well over 50 watches but these are the ones that just keep getting regular wear:

Dial should match strap (ie 346 on brown), strap should match your other leathers or metals.... So; if blue with brown belt/shoes, 346; if blue with black, go 299...
Only my opinion of course.

Should add, first tells that I went from on those shots:
288 - tachy number spacing (centred top to bottom, gen isn't)
183 - crown stem length (too long), case shaping (pillow shape slightly off)
