Wow that is a thing of beauty. It is a really cool movement too, had the chance to mess with one at the AD. Neat thing about the movement is to change the date you have to advance the hour hand around so it also acts as a GMT so to speak. The watch never hacks when changing the date kinda neat but I could see where it could be a pain in the ass.

My payment (banktransfer) was confirmed by Ryan today and he said it take about 3 days to get the watch and send QC. Then it usually take 7-10 days to arrive at my door. I'm quite exited on this project 
So.. wait you bought the movement before you had the watch? Which style of PO did you get? I am so looking forward to seeing you do this build. Guess that I'll have to wait a couple more weeks until you get the watch though.
I ordered the 45 mm titanium PO and a extra bezel insert to mod the pearl that is crappy on all PO.
The QC images were stuck in my spam filter. But are now accepted I also order an extra bezel for a pearl mod.
And a little update on the hands.
Gen hands (sec, min, hour): 0.28 , 0.90 , 1.50 mm
Rep hands (sec, min, hour): 0.25 , 0.90 , 1.50 mm
This means the rep min and hour hands will fit directly on the 8500 movement and the sec hand is a easy mod just enlarge the tube in the rep hand 0.03 mm.

That is cool! Maybe since the rep seconds hand is smaller you could broach it. It's so close.

I have not recieved the watch yet, Ryan found a scratch on the caseback that I didn't notice in QC pics so he changed it for me. Got new QC yesterday and it will be shipped early next week. He is such a great guy offering superb service!
No, I have not received the watch yet. I choose delivery to EU via UK. And there was some problem. The watch was ordered on May 5th the first did not pass QC and the other was not send out before May 28 it was then received by Ryans UK partner on May 30. And have not heard anything until today.

So now I'm waiting for a new one I think, to me it sounds like the UK partner stole the watch... I'm just so tired of waiting last time I dealt with Ryan, payment confirmed = watch received 5 days later...
