Genuine Rolex 16803 .dial..when looking at the head of this build....everything you see besides the mid case is genuine 16803 parts....the Yuki 3135 comes out next week!....and genuine Rolex 3135 movement go in.....then 90% of the head is genuine....the bracelet links are gen.....real gold WSO end link....with custom made clasp made by Tagfan1 ....which in the future if luck permits.....I will replace the end links and clasp....then the only thing that will be aftermarket will be the case!

wow brother you must have almost 4k into that project. Probably even more. That is a true work of art and I hope to slowly make some improvements to mine. I will never get as close to gen as yours but a few pieces here and there and I will at least be respectable. I have a good starting point I think.

I just wanted to build something a little different where everybody was building the 16613 I decided to do the slightly different and older version of the 16803 which has a multi color dial..! It will have the blue sunburst in some lighting like the 16613
And then it has kind of a purple hue to it in other lighting... Which I think is cool!

Yeah man that purple is stunning, I'm humbled to be hanging with the big boys. You and tagfan1 have been instrumental in the rejuvenation of my collection. After your movement swap he is going to help me get my newly acquired 1680 sub graduated to the big leagues. I am slowly learning and becoming a better watch collector because of the knowledge and experiance gained from my relationships with forum members like you. Thank you for all you do for this community and for being like a teacher to me.
Thanks! This is actually stock. This is a Noob V2, the actual 2nd version produced. I bought it in 2008. The insert has platinum colored paint that actually will sparkle and change color in the right sunlight. It could be a hair lighter. The next version produced after this one had white paint and they kept the white up until the newest release. I don't know why the hell they went from metallic to white.
The problem with this insert, though, is the numbers are too thin and the shade of silver is just a shade too dark.
I think the newest one is supposed to be pretty amazing. The pics look outstanding. It has superlume vs the weak rep lume that mine has. The insert is fantastic and overall it just looks perfect.
I'll wear mine until it either dies or I feel like I absolutely must upgrade. I can't justify the price, though, when I already have one that is pretty good. [emoji2]
I try bro I haven't been able to be very active here lately ... Due to work and health issues but hopefully that will change! Everything I learnt is due to this wonderful forum and its wealth of info! But most of all the great members that has helped me in the past! It's a great hobby I'm still very passionate about! But it can be a very costly addiction...lol.. Be careful!
