Plain simple; When my wife started to complain about my expensive hobby, i just bought her a watch from a TD here.... = No more complaints... She LOVES the watch and she is already talking about another one....

Never buy a woman a watch. There is a clock on the oven.

My wife doesn't care but I have a buddy that deals with this. He uses "I've had this for a while," I traded one for this so I didn't spend any money," and the different strap angle. You need a good 6-10 watches that are not displayed visible to pull these off though.

Mine keeps inventory at home so I keep some at work and keep rotating. I told her that I am on RWI watch club where guys rotate watches and that's why I have so many different watches every week. So inventory at home never increases. It is also in my man cave so she hardly goes there.

Thought I would start it off. I know you guys are out there. I finally got the watch I've been waiting for. I told my wife I spent $300 on another watch and she went off. I can't even enjoy the watch now. I told her I have a few potential sales on the forum to make up for the funds. What makes it worse is that I just bought a gen Rolex Explorer II four months ago and told her it would be my last watch. My mistake there.

This hobby can be an addiction. Plain and simple, I love watches.

Figure this can be a place where we could share stories and gain support from our fellow members.

I can understand your situation as my wife is making lots of noise over my rep purchase. Like you I just gotten a gen LV a couple of months ago and I promise her that I will not buy any more watches for the year...and...I bought another 4 reps last month! LOL!

I use to stash my watches in the cupboard and drawers so that she wont notice but the obession is too great. I decided to come clean when I bought a 12-watch winder and fill up with all my watches. Thats when she blows! Haha!

I have been bitten by this rep world craziness and the wife and me have had a few disagreements along the way but all in all hasn't been too bad

Watches, not too bad, cars are another story. She is getting tired of the new cars and I can't seem to get enough of them. What's a guy to do.........
