Yes, the original MH strap is rare and the stitching is Baby Blue as compared to those from the AD's stitching of the newly produced which is slightly darker, more Aqua. The brown of the strap itself would be dark like the subdial brown.

this strap is RARE btw, not only because it's an MH but it's the strap that was sold with an original Montauk off factory, 1 of the 300. If you order a strap now you will notice that the colour is more aqua than the original stitching.

Here you can compare the more Aqua blue vs those Edge posted earlier which is a more lighter Baby blue.

I do not like the huge gap his straps give you.

I agree. I think it is only really noticeable if you have skinny wrists and the straps are at almost 90 degrees from the watch case. If you have normal man wrists then it is not as big a problem.

The inserts prevent the straps from bending too much, and I'm tempted to try putting in a couple inserts after the fact and restitching.

Do you have any gen AP deployment clasps? Are they comfortable?
