Thanks Mate. Saw your Franken 15400 post, you inspired me. Lol

I'm new to the forum, not familiar on getting around. Pardon me.
Glad to hear that, its a nice hobby

Give it a little time and you will get there

Very nice 15400 project you are making, except from everything else i also like very much the solid white gold screws 👏

It's not a simple answer

How i do it? I have found 2 good contacts that when i want something i send them a message, if they have it perfect, if not then they order it from their supplier from Switzerland and wait , in the meantime i check at internet in general and if it pops up i buy it and cancel it from them

How you get contacts? This will happen with time , it can be a chrono dealer or ebay dealer or dealer you will find from another platform or someone that a friend connected you with etc...

Now how they can get hold of gen Ap hands? This is really an answer that i dont know and i am curious. Because ap hands are not like rolex wich every dealer can order and get, they are in house-butique exclusive.

Maybe they buy a watch and sell all the parts to RWI members 🙂

Left is ZF, stock. Bought but not keen to wear after it arrived.
APSF Modded on the right includes :
1)APSF 15400
2) gen black dial
3) solid white gold bezel screws
4) Bevel hands and plating (using ZF hands)
5) hour and minute hand relume
6) service movement
7) reshape the crown
8) round the edges of the bracelet
9) Waterproof test
10) gen Black date disc

The watch is not ready to go on the wrist. When it does, I'll post better pic.
Where did you find the gen date disc? Have been looking for a white one forever now with no luck

The crown is lower than the pushesr, we don't have this problem with the 7750:)

33g... Then it must be aroung 10 g with a carbon case.

Ah sorry, it's titanium, I thought it was steel... It means it would be 57 g with steel. And there is also the caseback which is less heavy...

The new 42mm and 43mm ROOs do not have this offset as well. Frankly it is just more refined visually for me though the offset crown/pushers has been a trait of the ROO for decades. I am glad AP has their own in-house calibers now.
