What Mods are out there for the Zenith Pilot?

Thought I would ask what mods are out there for the VF6 Pilots? I saw one crystal replacement, from what I have read the dial doesnt need to be relumed, anything else?

For me, if only i could get it, i would go for correct crown in my case. I mean materialwise. The one i have received was not the same material as the case. Too shiny, bling bling. There is a mod for it, but the result does not sustain, the shine comes back and the patina gets off.

Crown is the same material as the case. The "problem" is that the crown is polished and the case is satin finished.
The crown of my pilot bronze already reached the same look as the case and it's perfect.

Well, in my case, i am not sure. Even when it gets patina, after initial winding its gone. I did the kitchen pad treatment, didnt help that much. There is clearly difference. There are units reported with different material, see initial review by @PolonusTM

Here are some gen pics. Gen crown is polished and shiny, our reps aren't that wrong.

The patina on the crown and also the watch builds nicely when you are not wearing it. After wearing it, it starts going away especially on the crown and after a few days the crown is super shiny again..
The grooves on the gen crown are much more pronounced and precisely cut. One look is enough to tell a rep apart at arms length when you know what you are looking for. I searched to find a gen crown.. did not see anything anywhere..

Still a beautiful watch, I enjoy wearing it very much

Where did you see this crystal replacement? As the crystal broke and its a special kind of crystal with shouldered edged
