Update - Server lags - Reindexing the search system

Hi all,

We are currently running a re-indexing task for the Sphinx search system, this will and is currently generating random lag spikes.

This task should last for a few hours and will generate ups & down.

If you encounter a lag while posting a message, please be sure to copy the content of the message and refreshing the page to see if it posted correctly before hitting multiple time the post button.

MAINTENANCE NOTICE :

To try to complete, again, the re-work of the search system, we will be running some maintenance task and re-indexing of the search content tomorrow during the day. The forum will be online most of the day, but if at one point you notice the forum going down, there's no worries to have, it's just the normal course of the maintenance event.

Some slow moments could also happen during that day if the forum don't come to a full stop.

I can login via Tapatalk but not anymore via Desktop since 20th October 2020

How or when can I login again via desktop?

Login via desktop is working fine since for ever, this has never been an issue, but you are maybe trying to log with your Tapatalk account which is different than your RWI account. If you need help, open a Help Desk ticket please

Tremendous progress has been made. Code improvements for stability as well. We are not finished but things are looking better! As usual, AmericanWookie and Glaude leading the way. We couldn't do it without these guys.
