New 5512 / 5513 build and wso Bezel

Good morning RWI ,
it is long time i don't make a new post and a new watch.

My new project is a vintage 5512/5513 !

I buyed a nice jfk 5513 with 2813 movement .

I'm planning to reshape the case and add a new bezel,dial,crown etc etc .

So first of all i changed only the xtal with a T19 and it fitted like a charm.

Now i have to redrill lug holes but my question is about the bezel and dial.

i'm planning to buy a dial from helenarou or bi vintage. Who is the best ?

And finally the question on bezel is:
Does this bezel correct for a 5513? Is this bezel really more nice then the cartel one?

Bi bintage store are 0.5 mm larger.

I [EDIT] don't [EDIT] know about the size of Helenarou's dials ...
What I can do this WE too is check the size of the Cartel's 6513 dial and the size of a 9401 dial from Bi Vintagestore

You can custom order HR dials to the size you want.

Cartel 5513 cases have a dial opening of 26 mm for 26 mm dials, which you can order from HR. 1680 dials are 26.5mm and don't fit in Cartel cases.

WSO bezel assemblies will fit a Cartel 5513 if it has a gen spec crystal, but WSO bezel assemblies have poor machining tolerances and don't turn.

Ruby doesn't make anything, she sells what the factory makes. And no, they aren't the most accurate dials, that would be MQ - unless you get one of those IvanDarkLordMasterOfAllThatIsObscureAndDark dials.

You don't 'need' a new bezel assembly, but a bezel assembly from Ruby would look better. You can add it later if you change your mind.

Here are a few photos of an unaged 26mm 5513 dial that I received from HR two days ago. I think it looks good. The cost was $79.95 USD + shipping. You can ask HR to "age" the dial for you at additional cost. I was quoted $30 for aging, but I decided I wanted to try doing it myself.

I like the hr dial but bivintage has lumed dial for quite the same price .When i finish the case i will buy it .

I'm looking for a nice insert and a decent crown on ebay . Athaya 700 crown are out of stock and i'm not able to find a good one!

This is the first attempt on the CG . I like it and tonight i will be more soft the lugs .

I tried to send a little the bezel .

maikols What tools or work strategy do you use to reshape the case?

I manually sanded the cg with a file for steel.

Tonight I will use my dremel for over polish the case and make the lugs more soft and slim.

this is the archieved result after lag slimming and overpolish and cg reshape.

Tonight i will brush the lugs becouse i no like polished.

what may i have to improve the shape tripdog ?

I don't know why but the stock jfk bezel seems to be not of 316 steel . It looks at my eyes more like another material.
this is why i usally don't like to polish it but to leave a little brushed .

Is it only mine opinion?
