Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a good replica/frankenwatch of the W.W.W. Dirty Dozen watch. It should have a look-a-like mechanical movement and look like it did indeed survive a war. https://www.acollectedman.com/blogs/...e-british-army

I know there are fakes out there, there are some reports of people trying to sell them as real. So I assume they must be out there somewhere?
If not exactly a dirty dozen replica, any other vintage military replica's available?

Thanks

Rolex Milsubs and Omega Military Seamasters are fairly easily obtained through the usual vendors.

Some of the cheaper WWW watches can be picked up for less than £1k. There are a few up on eBay currently.

I’m not so sure Rolex MilSubs can be obtained easily? Everything I’ve read suggests that they are very unobtainable unless you go the vn route. HR makes one, but it’s not very accurate afaik. Apologies OP, I’m not contributing to your original question....I’ve seen a remake of a dirty dozen watch somewhere recently. It wasn’t a rep, but was a modern homage of some sort. Not sure where-maybe Instagram?

I found my 5517 milsub through nembo on repgeek ( not a TD here)
Omega vintage 300 military through regular TD here.

Neither look like a dirty dozen watch with seconds @ 6.
Great thread OP, I learned some new stuff today.
That Lemania or Omega would be my pick, I like the sword hands.

deadpan - you can get a mil sub dialed 5512 pretty easily. I agree to go the whole hog and get fixed bars, sword hands, stamped caseback etc requires a bit more work.

I just came across this - looks like Vertex are making a replica WWW

There’s also a Timor re-issue:

https://timorwatch.com

However, the price is pretty much what it would be for an original on eBay ca.£900

My original:

Also, from Timefactors. Not a W.W.W. homage, more a IWC Navigator Mk11 ca.£500

Thanks for the suggestions. In the end, I bought a original military supplied CWC G10 from the year I was born. Not as old as a dirty dozen watch, but cheap , original and has a nice story to it as well.
