I found some brass blanks on etsy that will help me tinker around with waterslide decals. Any idea what size the hole size I would need to drill for the little pinion that the hands affix to? Also, typically, how thick are dials?

I just measured a few dial blanks I have here. The thickness of my samples is .3mm. The pinion hole diameters range from 2 to 2.5mm (I guess the best way to decide that would be to measure the pinion thickness of the movement you'll be fitting the dial to).

Thanks for measuring. I spoke to raffles dial and their dials are .5mm. So for anyone making their own brass dials there are your answers for dial thickness and pinion hole opening.
