Vintage Omega SM300 Build

We have all seen the cartel ones and then went to instagram wishing they looked the insta shots. Had some time today to play with one.

Took the bezel insert out, messed up removing the lume on some markers, calling it character ????

Messed up the minute hand as it was one of the thinnest, flimsiest hands I have ever seen.


Aged the hands, dial and case and voila we have a decent vintage Omega Sm300

I've been trying to make a faux-bakelite GMT bezel insert for a while now with resin 3D printing and resin casting, but I always end up with print issues and mold making issues. If you dont mind sharing with us, how did you get those engraved? laser? what material are they? thanks in advance.

They are cut to size from a solid acrylic rod and then engraved
