Hello,
I hope you can give me some advice on how to improve my 5513 build.
I think I have to change the crown, replace it with a 703 athaya one.
But what else?
-Change hands?
-Re, rework crown guards?
-Is the glas totally wrong?

You can see, this build does not feel as being finished, hope you will have some good advice, thanks!

Thanks so far!
I have shaped the lugs, thinned the sides of the case and reworked the crown guards. Tryed to thinner them and get more space between lugs and crown.
Faded the inlay.
Have installed a Rubys Dial and a low beat chinese movement.
Hands which fit this movement have been relumed and polished for a used look- but by doing this, they got a kind of gold/ bronze shine, when relecting the light...
A aftermarket t-39 cracked by installation (inner diameter was to narrow). Gave it to a watchsmith (to Check the movement) and he installed the glas. But he did not tell what glas it exactly is, he only mentioned „this is one that nearly fits“ ( but this comment does Not help a lot....)
Thats it :)

IMHO would swap out the crystal for a GS PA 462-66 available on Esslinger...maybe order the one size up 67 so u have it available if the 66 is too tight. In my case the 66 fit perfect onto the JKF case. Clark 25-19 off eBay or steinkruz also would work.

Reference below for crystal shape

Dial looks beautiful...and you couldn’t go wrong with an Athaya 702 tube and crown, an easy enough mod. Pick up an M3 x 0.35 tap to clean out the threads to ensure the tube installs easily.

Crown and crystal, check!
What about the bezel? What steps are to do to mod it correctly and improve it?
And what about the lug?
Thanks guys! :)
