Bond "Live and let die" Rolex 5513 (1972)

I took a picture of the 5513 used in 1973 Bond "Live and let die". It's actually a quite interesting version, I suppose a custom piece (the dots become reds later on).

There's lots of info about the movie prop Sub online (here for instance) - it's interesting to read about the piece that was used. It didn't function as a watch - the designer Syd Cain had to remove the movement to fit the mechanism to spin the bezel.

mclarendude thanks for posting that link - I knew there was a build thread somewhere, I’d seen it months ago, and it was a good read and very nice build.

There was also a thread about a project which I’d read some time ago, which recreated the buzz saw bezel. And this morning I found it... here. Now I feel another project coming on...
