Nice build specs here, many gen parts glad you got that bezel assembly to work out, I ran into the same problem while building my sub.

I have to agree with gunsmoke16610 definitely consider thinning the lugs a bit, I tryed leaving them as is but the esthetics were wrong and didn't give me that classy submariner feel..

good luck with your build! Subscribed!

Thank you, no the bracelet isn't gen but indeed gen spec as well as the endlinks which both are ST. The clasp should be replaced with gen though.

The lumed lolly pop at the end of the second hand looks different to others I have seen, is it a gen second hand or something else?

Is it this one: http://www.startimesupply.com/merch...egory_Code=1E_Bands_Stainless_Steel_Bands-sub

I've read people saying it was of not so good quality, but I've also read that they had several suppliers and quality varied.

I'm still undecided between a ST or a rep 93150.

That link is to the (startime brand) oyster bracelet. I have no say on it as I never handled one.

this is the Italian brand same dimensions as the genuine bracelet all is needed is to replace the calsp because it's no good.

also note: some of the links may have some (rippling) but can be easily brushed out using one of these blocks which I personally purchased and quite honestly all my wonders about "brushing like gen" have ended for me after using this. Results are amazing.

These are ST 3135 hands mate, of great quality (IMO) but must agree the seconds hand needs to be replaced with gen.

Thanks,

I was only seeing the cheaper one.

I will definitely take this one in consideration.

Here is a link to an Italian made oyster bracelet. This is probably the same oyster band that ST sells, but for more money. It has more info about it's construction than ST.

Yes mate your exactly right! I found this dealer as well when i was on the hunt for a good oyster bracelet. His prices are outrageous! But apparently Rolex used Italian made bracelets as their supplier in days of old rumor has it.

Funny thing about that.

I've read that it was difficult to buy from them, and you needed to be a professional.

What I did was, I registered, after registering I received an email saying that my account would be able to place orders temporarily for 1 month or 2 weeks I cant recall exactly after that I had to provide evidence that I was a professional.

I thought, OK, it will allow to make an order, I'm fine with that.

After placing my first order of around 300$, I received an email that my account was permanently approved, and I had an additional discount of 3% :)

I don't know when I will be ordering again from them though. I'm from Europe and their shipping costs are outrageous

Damn dude. You really got lucky. I got the same email and placed a $500 or so order a while back. Then I got a call from their marketing dept asking if I was a member of some watchmakers thing and needed my member ID. I told them I was a hobbyist and just planned on doing random orders of a few hundred bucks frequently (just to see if that made a difference). Nope. They said they can’t place my order because I’m not a member or whatever letters club. :(
