Custom built Rolex Double Red Sea Dweller (DRSD) known for its pronounced two lines of red text. A niche tool watch for a narrow subset of people spending extended periods of time deep, deep underwater. It didn’t really do anything different from its little brother, the Submariner, it just did it times a million. Capturing the essence of manly men from the late 1960’s this DRSD was once owned by a rogue COMEX saturation diver become deep sea pirate cyborg - can’t have provenance much better than that! Eat your heart out Rolexpassionreport!
Featuring a helium escape valve at 9-o’clock, our vicious pirate could surface quickly to escape capture without having the plexi explode off his wrist, potentially hindering his ability to tell time!
This watch is off to its new owner, who I expect will promptly jump into his diving bell and descend the Marianas Trench to fight a sea demon.
Hats off to this stellar tool, ready for any adventure life brings!
