Apart of the huge lugholes, looks nice. Good job.
Since those holes look gaping wide, I'd say stay at 1mm diameter 1.1mm maximum.

I measured some high quality vintage spring bars for you, the kind that's designed for cases with drilled through lug holes: 0.85mm diameter on ends.

BTW Where did you get that crown? Does that fit the original crown tube threads? Looking good enough for a rep build. I'd buy some.

Thanks

What I said 1.1mm max ... I drilled the lugs on my 34mm 14000 only at 0.1mm and the 0.85mm springbars fit perfectly

What crystal will you use?
Sapphire 5 digit DJs have this kind of tall bezel, acrylic is not this tall. For acrylic Reduce measurement - a

Did you reshape the case ? Can i see other picture of the watch ?

Of course you can ;) that's my last build

- 14000 Air King
- circa 90/93 ... thus the drilled lugs and the "T SWISS MADE T" transitionnal dial
- 34mm so right case size (something you can't buy from any TD) ... started with a 1500 case, lugs reshaped and drilled to 0.9mm, rehaut reshaped to fit a sapphire in place of the plexi, bezel reshaped ... I think that's all about it

why you say it is tall ?

It is 2.35 mm height .

I double checked on a lot of hight quality smooth bezel and this is the size -

Do you have an original one and give me the correct dimension?

sanded the inside to remove the engravings and enlarge the dial openig of a tiny bit of a mm to make the "t swiss made t" visible ...

EDIT :
my answer was bout the rehaut ...
I sanded the intern bezel diameter so that it could perfectly fit the sapphire's gasket

right now is ok . rehaut and not the bezel . So why you say it is tall ? 2.35 mm is a lot ? need to be more slim ?

Ho sorry .

So how is the bezel for you?

About the bezel, may I say ... neither for a 16014 nor a 16014 which came with a WG fluted bezel and a SS engine turned bezel
So OK for a 16000.

About thickness ... I think it's both a little thick and not angled enough for the higher part ...

Here's one of your pics

And 2 pics of Gen 16000s

You can see that the "vertical" part of the bezel is too thick and the "inclined" part is not "inclined" enough

And you can see that the lugs holes are definitely huge on your case

I told you already. It depends on what model are you going for. Acrylic or Sapphire.
Go to chrono24 and study thousands of high quality pictures. You will see the difference.

If I'm true, as long as maikols wants to build a 16000/16014/16030 it should put an acrylic to be period/model correct ... sapphire came with the 162XX series

16XXX series
-16000 - plexi + smooth bezel (stainless steel)
-16014 - plexi + flutted bezel (white gold)
-16030 - plexi + engine turned bezel (stainless steel)

162XX series
-16200 - sapphire + smooth bezel (stainless steel)
-16234 - sapphire + flutted bezel (white gold)
-16220 - sapphire + engine turned bezel (stainless steel)

Thank you for all your reply .

I will pay attention on the acylic version .
I will use the image before for do a nice bezel for acrilic version .
When i finish the prototipe i will store the cnc program and use good 322 steel . 322 is better then the 316 .

After that i will came back and do a good one for 16200 series

Stay tuned .
