Now that's what I would like to build next! I've built quite a few DW's back in the day. Truly difficult endeavors due to wacky tolerances and poor fitting bits. I chalk it up as being the last of the 'Pre-CNC' manufacturing days.

Never built a gold one, now I dream of it... Do tell details about your lovely Daytona!
