Thanks ! It's a franken - gen MK 1 dial, bezel & insert, crown, tube, crystal, bracelet & clasp. Case was originaly from Silix.

And yes, to me anyway it definitely gives the watch an illusion of being larger that what it is. That's only a 32mm case, pretty standard size for watches of that vintage.
